What is Finesse Stage & Screen?Finesse is a professional training programme in Loughborough led by West End performers DJ Scott-Fines and Olivia Baker-Fines. We run musical theatre classes, industry sessions, and private coaching for ages 6 and up.

What’s the difference between The Finesse Club and The Finesse Company?The Finesse Club is for ages 6–16 and includes Sunday Sessions, screen acting classes, and holiday workshops. The Finesse Company is for ages 16+ and offers Industry Sessions, masterclasses, and audition-focused training.

How do trial sessions work?All new students can try two Sunday Sessions at a discounted rate of £42. If you enjoy the sessions and want to stay, we’ll invite you to join full-time via a monthly membership of £82.50.

How are Sunday Session payments structured?We’ve worked out the full number of sessions across the academic year, and split the total into 12 equal monthly payments of £82.50 to make budgeting easier. Sessions are held during term time only.

What’s the refund policy?We do not offer refunds for missed sessions, illness, or changes of mind. If you need to leave, just contact us and we’ll cancel your membership going forward. If we cancel a class and can’t reschedule, we’ll offer a refund or credit. You can read through our full Booking Policy here

What should my child wear?Comfortable clothes they can move in, with appropriate footwear (jazz shoes or trainers). Branded Finesse t-shirts are available to purchase in our shop.

Do you offer sibling discounts?Yes! We offer 50% off for siblings. Just use code SIBLING at checkout when booking the second student.

Can I attend a one-off Industry Session or Workshop?Yes. These are open to both current students and new performers (usually ages 16+). Prices vary per session and must be booked in advance. Space is limited.

What happens if I need to cancel a workshop booking?We don’t offer refunds for one-off bookings unless the event is cancelled by us. If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your place to another eligible student.

What’s your safeguarding policy?All staff and guest teachers are DBS-checked and follow our safeguarding procedures. We have a dedicated Designated Safeguarding Lead and uphold a zero-tolerance policy on bullying or inappropriate behaviour. Is my child’s data protected?Yes. We take GDPR seriously and only use your data to manage bookings and communications. We never share your data without consent.
